Job Summary

A staffing agency is in need of a Remote CCS Coder in Bryan.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Assigning diagnostic and procedural codes to patient charts of moderate to high complexity
• Reviewing medical records for the determination of accurate assignment of all documented diagnoses and procedures
• Abiding by all coding standards, rules and regulations

Position Requirements Include:

• HS/Diploma GED equivalent
• Must be willing to work 1x a month on a Saturday or Sunday for a rotating weekend shift
• Must have extensive knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT codes
• Must be AHIMA certified (CCS, RHIT)
• Must have a minimum of 3 years acute inpatient coding experience (specifically in level 1 Teaching / Trauma Facility OR Cardio)
