Job Summary
A scientific research company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Cellular Imaging and Detection Technical Specialist in San Diego.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Prospecting for new business within the territory
- Driving the sales cycle from end to end, which involves working closely with the customer
- Driving sales opportunities, often identified by distribution reps, throughout the sales cycle
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Able to travel up to 50%
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in life sciences or extensive microscopy and/or plate reader knowledge
- 4+ years of sales experience in life science industry is highly preferred
- Documented success in capital equipment sales
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies
- All other requirements necessary for this position
