Job Summary

A staffing agency has a current position open for a Remote Certified Coder in Hartford.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Verifying and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, specificity and appropriateness of diagnosis codes
• Reviewing medical record information to identify all appropriate coding based on CMS HCC categories
• Monitoring Coding changes to ensure that most current information is available

Position Requirements Include:

• 2+ years of working as a medical coder
• Coding certification through AHIMA / AAPC
• Minimum of GED or High School Diploma
• Excellent written verbal and communication skills
• High speed internet with good service available at your home
