Job Summary

A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Certified Medical Coder.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Coding a minimum of 50 cases on a daily basis
• Assuring accurate operative reports
• Coding all third-party carriers and self-pay cases

Position Requirements Include:

• Required certification in one of the following: CPC, RHIA, or RHIT
• Successful completion of formal education in basic ICD-9-CM/ICD-10/CPT coding
• Knowledge of computers and Windows-driven software
• Minimum of 2 years acute care coding experience of all patient types
