Job Summary

A consulting firm is in need of a Remote Certified Medical Coder in Baltimore.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Performing coding validation accuracy reviews
• Documenting findings for each claim and a clear and concise manner
• Maintaining a Quality Assurance monthly score of 95% or greater

Position Requirements Include:

• Certified Coder from an accredited association, such as AAPC or AHIMA
• May also be RHIA and RHIT credentialed by AHIMA
• Minimum of five (5) years direct coding or billing experience
• Ability to interface with team members internal and external to the organization
• coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT, CCS)
• Proficient in explaining review decision through written decisions using related regulations and references
