Job Summary

A health care provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Certified Professional Medical Coder.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Refer problem accounts to appropriate coding or management personnel for resolution
• Identify incomplete documentation in the medical record and formulate a physician query to obtain missing documentation
• Provides training on code selection for new and existing staff

Qualifications Include:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Three years physician coding experience in the applicable specialty
• CCS or RHIA or CPC or RHIT or CCS-P required
