Job Summary

A for-profit health care organization has an open position for a Remote Charge Entry Specialist in Nashville.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Receiving and reviewing charge documents for accuracy and coordinates with front office staff on all payment/billing issues
• Entering charges into practice management system
• Balancing Charge Summary to tickets keyed before finalizing/updating charges in the system

Qualifications Include:

• Minimum of 1 year of coding, billing, and/or charge entry experience in the healthcare field is required
• Familiarity with third party billing requirements and payment policies is also highly preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is highly preferred
