Job Summary

An insurance and benefits company is filling a position for a Remote Clinical Consultation Registered Nurse.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Identifying the needs of caller by triaging, obtaining general health information and/or physician services referral
• Evaluating need for alternative treatment through telephonic contact
• Interviewing patient to obtain pertinent data and entering data into computer system

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Must be able to travel as required
• Knowledge of current alternative resources and treatments in out-patient and alternative care settings
• Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include three (3) years recent clinical practice experience.
• Active unrestricted RN license issued in United States required
• Strong knowledge of nursing practice and theory
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processing
