Job Summary

A healthcare provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Clinical Documentation Specialist in Great Neck.

Must be able to:

  • Facilitate modifications to clinical documentation supporting appropriate reimbursement is received for level of service rendered
  • Demonstrates knowledge of payor issues, documentation opportunities, clinical documentation requirements & referral policies
  • Improve overall quality & completeness of clinical documentation by performing admission/continued stay reviews

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Graduate from accredited School of Nursing required
  • Must obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree within 5 years of employment date
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required
  • Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed
