Job Summary
A pharmacy benefit management company has a current position open for a Remote Clinical Operations Technician.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Responding to completed requests
- Researching and responding to calls and emails
- Reviewing criteria to determine if the request can be approved and accurately enter Prior Authorizations in claims system
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 6 months of pharmacy experience or health care delivery experience
- High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
- Willingness and ability to learn internal systems/processes/programs as needed
- Basic math skills and general PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, Internet, and email
