Job Summary
A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Clinical Pharmacist in Morristown.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Researching and synthesizing detailed clinical data related to pharmaceuticals
- Preparing and presenting therapeutic class reviews and drug monograph information to the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee
- Serving as a clinical resource to other pharmacists on areas such as prospective, inpatient and retrospective DURs
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
- 2 years of managed care pharmacy (PBM) experience or residency in lieu of work experience
- An active unrestricted state license to practice pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh)
- SAS, SQL, HEOR, Data Mining/Analytics experience
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills
