Job Summary
A pharmacy benefit management company has a current position open for a Remote Clinical pharmacy technician.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Determine appropriateness for medications
- Research, resolve and document prior authorization outcomes
- Escalate requests to Pharmacist
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Active pharmacy technician licensure or registration in accordance with state requirements
- Pharmacy technician licensure or registration with state requirements AND an active national certification
- Active Pharmacist license supersedes requirement for CPT and/or PTCB
- In-depth knowledge of specialty injectable prescription drugs
- Specialty or retail pharmacy industry experience,
- Minimum of 6 months dispensing or retail experience
