Job Summary

A pharmacy benefit management company has a current position open for a Remote Clinical pharmacy technician.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

Determine appropriateness for medications
Research, resolve and document prior authorization outcomes
Escalate requests to Pharmacist

Skills and Requirements Include:

Active pharmacy technician licensure or registration in accordance with state requirements
Pharmacy technician licensure or registration with state requirements AND an active national certification
Active Pharmacist license supersedes requirement for CPT and/or PTCB
In-depth knowledge of specialty injectable prescription drugs
Specialty or retail pharmacy industry experience,
Minimum of 6 months dispensing or retail experience
