Job Summary

An insurance services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform quality assurance review of peer review reports, correspondences, addendums or supplemental reviews
  • Ensure each review is supported by clinical citations and from reputable medical journals and/or publications
  • Ensure content, format, and professional appearance of reports are of highest quality

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Associates degree
  • RN or LPN/ LVN licensure
  • Minimum of two years clinical or related field experience
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medications and laboratory values
  • Basic math capability
