Job Summary
An insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Cloud Engineering Team Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Leading and developing a team of cloud engineers through recruiting and hiring, coaching, and mentoring, monitoring and evaluation
- Encouraging staff in creating and maintaining a work environment with high morale and employee satisfaction
- Ensuring integrity of audited systems/controls and collects and distributes proof of work and resolutions.
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in any major
- 7 years of job-related IT experience
- Prior team lead, supervisor, or management experience; OR equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above
- Ability to drive team KPIs with a focus on continual improvement
- Ability to provide 24x7 cloud operations leadership and architectural design support through collaboration with customers and other departments (Security, Compliance, Audit, and others)
- Ability to guarantee timely response and resolution of Cloud issues while adhering to customer SLAs
