Job Summary

A software development company that specializes in business support solutions needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Cloud Security Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Work across multiple DevOps teams in building and maintaining security best practices
  • Identify opportunities for improving efficiency and effectiveness of the security operations team through automation
  • Be involved in security operations, documentation and working with teams on resolving security related issues

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; Security, Computer Science or Math background preferred
  • 5+ or more years of IT Security experience
  • Proven customer facing skills to represent the security team well within an environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and security challenges
  • Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies
  • Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, SSAE, PCI, HIPAA etc)
