Job Summary

A single-specialty anesthesia practice is filling a position for a Remote Coder Specialist in Houston.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Coding Anesthesia charge tickets for Commercial carriers
• Reviewing CPT, ICD-9, ASA and HCPCS coding on charge tickets
• Reviewing anesthesia records for supporting documentation for charge tickets

Qualifications for this position include:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• 1 year anesthesia/surgical coding experience
• Formal training in Coding with certificate of completion in good standing
• CPC certification is required, or proof of registration for national coding test within six months of hire date
