Job Summary

A full-service mortgage lender is in need of a Remote Collateral Underwriter.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze, and interpret 1-4 residential real estate valuations
  • Document and address any significant appraisal defects and or corrections with the appraiser and approve or decline the report
  • Effectively manage and maintain caseload and turn times of pending and active collateral reviews

Qualifications Include:

  • Demonstrate a high level of familiarity of Real Estate Appraisal Valuations, Licensed or Certified Real Estate Appraiser ideal
  • Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, FNMA and FHLMC policies and guidelines
  • Relevant experience in residential mortgage operations
  • 3-5 Years’ experience in national appraisal reviews ideal
  • Proficient in the review and analysis of related industry valuation support products; AVM’S, & BPO’S
