Job Summary

A tutoring and test prep company is in need of a Remote College Counselor.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Working with both middle and high school students through all aspects of the college admissions process
• Managing time to accommodate a pre-determined caseload of students
• Delivering college admissions focused webinars, social media events, and assist with other marketing endeavors

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree; higher level degree preferred
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in admissions at a selective college or university; high school or independent counseling experience also preferred
• Demonstrated deep knowledge of the college admissions and application process with a desire to remain “on trend” in the field of college admissions and counseling
• Proven “people” person who makes others feel at ease
• Demonstrated exceptional writing skills with a deep knowledge of college essay editing
• Ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed, especially during the application season from August through December
