Job Summary

An animal non-profit is in need of a Remote Community Cat Program Outreach Specialist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Establishing programs in communities using successful, non-lethal methods of managing cats
  • Providing program training, support, mentoring and resources
  • Filling in on-site as needed in new full-scale program cities and assist with mentorship cities

Position Requirements Include:

  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record and ability to travel
  • Must be at least 25 years of age and able to lift 40-plus pounds at a time
  • Ability to work in the presence of both cats and dogs
  • Ability to work in weather with temperatures varying between extreme hot and extreme cold
  • BA/BS from Accredited Undergraduate College (or substitution of work experience for education)
  • 3+ years of experience working for or with an animal welfare organization
