Job Summary

A mortgage company is filling a position for a Remote Construction Loan Underwriter.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Evaluating loan applications for risks and various criteria
• Reviewing new loan files to ensure loan meets investor and program criteria
• Reviewing transmittal and 1003 to make sure it is accurate and complete

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must have 2 years of Construction Lending Underwriting experience
• 5+ years of recent Mortgage Underwriting Experience
• Knowledge of compliance and disclosure requirements
• Strong working knowledge of ATR/QM Requirements
• Knowledge of closing, post-closing & quality control responsibilities
