Job Summary
An aerospace and defense company is filling a position for a Remote Consulting Metallurgical Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Performing metallographic and fractographic evaluations of failed aircraft component photo micrographs
- Providing technical assessments of failure investigations
- Advising and guiding material and process engineers in the preferred investigative protocols
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 plus years’ experience in metallurgical analysis
- A minimum of 10 plus years’ experience in Material, Process and Quality Assurance
- Any other applicable experience
