Job Summary

A mortgage servicing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Consumer Direct Underwriter II.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Evaluating creditworthiness of borrowers for conventional loan programs
  • Accurately calculating income for borrowers while analyzing loan risk
  • Determining eligibility for private mortgage insurance

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 5+ years of mortgage industry experience
  • 3 years' current or recent underwriting or loan review experience
  • 2+ years underwriting experience tied to minimum standards of loan quality
  • Current experience and core-competency with automated underwriting systems
  • Core-competency in navigating and interpreting FNMA, FHLMC, and company guidelines
