Job Summary

A research organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Contracts Administrator.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Working closely with senior contract staff to prepare financial support documentation and administrative sections of proposals for smaller, less complex projects
  • Negotiating and administering prime and sub-contracts
  • Maintaining official contractual communications between organization and its clients

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
  • Minimum 3 years' contract administration experience
  • Knowledge of Federal regulations, government cost accounting standards and federal regulations
  • Demonstrated strong familiarity with the full range of types; e.g. FFP, CPFF, CPAF, Time and Material and federal and commercial awards
  • Ability to work with oversight while drawing upon knowledge of FAR, OMB Uniform Guidance, agency or client regulations, contract law, accounting standards and principles
  • Ability to review financial status of contracts and resolve billing issues
