Job Summary
A research organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Contracts Administrator.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working closely with senior contract staff to prepare financial support documentation and administrative sections of proposals for smaller, less complex projects
- Negotiating and administering prime and sub-contracts
- Maintaining official contractual communications between organization and its clients
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
- Minimum 3 years' contract administration experience
- Knowledge of Federal regulations, government cost accounting standards and federal regulations
- Demonstrated strong familiarity with the full range of types; e.g. FFP, CPFF, CPAF, Time and Material and federal and commercial awards
- Ability to work with oversight while drawing upon knowledge of FAR, OMB Uniform Guidance, agency or client regulations, contract law, accounting standards and principles
- Ability to review financial status of contracts and resolve billing issues
