Job Summary

A computer software company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Core and Infrastructure Senior Software Engineer in New York City.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Learning and improving company's AWS implementation, from VPC networking to auto-scaling to EMR environments
  • Taking full ownership of new features in our our Django web-app or python-powered ETL pipeline
  • Working with senior staff to decide on core technology that will set direction for months or years to come

Position Requirements Include:

  • Love data and writing pragmatic code
  • Able to stay on top of the latest technologies and assess their fit with our code, from unit testing to deployment to AWS
  • Able to work directly with our senior staff
