Job Summary
A non-profit information technology company is seeking a Remote Core Blockchain Backend Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Contribute to core technical projects for company from inception to completion
- Collaborate on the optimization of novel consensus mechanisms
- Support the development of distributed network testing tools
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Demonstrated strong passion for the cryptocurrency, decentralized finance space
- Proven skill to identify and implement improvements to the codebase without direction from others
- Minimum of 1+ year of hands on experience in a production environment with one or more of: public blockchains, consensus protocols, large scale distributed systems, applied cryptography, compilers, peer to peer systems, or any other equivalent technology
- Familiarity with Go (Golang) and AWS
- BS or higher degree in Computer Science preferred
- Ability to build supporting tools to empower developers
