Remote Correspondent Purchaser

Job Summary

Reviewing and purchasing closed loans from correspondent lenders, the full-time Remote Correspondent Purchaser will ensure compliance with company guidelines and investor requirements while collaborating with internal teams to manage the loan purchase process remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Complete and audit four loan files daily, ensuring all tasks are done within the associated SLA
• Review and confirm all required documentation for loan purchases, addressing any outstanding conditions
• Assess signed loan documents for compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies

Required qualifications:

• Minimum two years' experience in a similar role within the mortgage industry
• Experience reviewing collateral packages prior to purchase
• Underwriting experience preferred
• Knowledge of Non-QM underwriting guidelines and federal regulations
• Familiarity with Encompass software preferred
