Job Summary
A manufacturing supply company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Credit and Collections Analyst .
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Pulling data and creating reports in order to conduct in depth portfolio analysis in order to determine trends and opportunities in which past dues / DSO / bad debt can be improved
- Assessing credit worthiness based on a credit investigation and financial analysis of new and existing customers / vendors
- Testing, evaluating, and improving our credit scoring models
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (in lieu of degree 5 or more years of credit and collection experience will be considered)
- 5 years of experience in a business-to-business environment.
- Working knowledge of financial statement analysis, credit scoring, accounting, debits and credits, account reconciliation: payments and credits to invoices and debits.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including appropriate telephone etiquette and professionalism are a must
