Job Summary

A news publication company has an open position for a Remote Paid News Subscription Customer Support Associate in New York City.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Troubleshooting and promptly resolving technical and functional issues via phone and email
  • Addressing billing inquiries, to include; refunds, cancellations, questions, and disputes
  • Documenting all customer support issues, raising potential problems to the relevant stakeholders

Qualifications Include:

  • The ideal candidate will feel comfortable troubleshooting across a wide range of operating systems, devices and browsers
  • 1+ years experience in customer support for a subscription-based web business
  • Ability to work quickly and manage a high volume of inbound requests
  • Organized with the ability to keep track of the details
  • You love a spreadsheet
  • Experience with Freshdesk or other ticketing systems
