Job Summary
The healthcare sector of GE needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Cyber Security Incident Responder .
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Performing daily response operations on a schedule that may involve nontraditional working hours
- Writing signatures, tune systems/tools, develop scripts and correlation rules
- Analyzing host and network forensic artifacts and identify patterns and behaviors related to threat actors.
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical degree and a minimum 2 years professional work experience OR in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma/GED plus 6 years of relevant or military experience
- Basic familiarity with Linux and virtual machines
- Basic Phishing and malware concepts
- Intermediate knowledge of TCP/IP networking, OSI model, and HTTP communication
