Job Summary

A provider of IT solutions has a current position open for a Remote Cyber Security System Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Investigating, analyzing, and responding to cyber incidents within the network environment or enclave
• Identifying Signature implementation impact(s) for viruses, malware, and attacks
• Supporting the organization's cyber defense policies and system configurations

Position Requirements Include:

• Some travel required
• Public trust clearance, or the ability to obtain, as well as CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Bachelor or Master degree (or industry equivalent experience)
• 7+ years experience security operations vuln. assessment, remediation, incident detection and response
• 5+ years of experience refining, implementing and executing incident response playbooks
• 3+ years of experience analyzing malicious code, identifying, capturing, containing, and reporting malware
