Job Summary

A software company is in need of a Remote Data Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Onboarding with the SRE team to develop an understanding of our existing infrastructure
  • Partnering with Product and BI to architect and build the next version of our customer analytics back-end
  • Partnering with SREs to develop SLOs, monitoring, and alerting for production data systems

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Proficiency in or a desire to learn the programming languages we use daily
  • Expertise with RDBMS and data warehouses
  • A good communicator
  • Well organized
