Job Summary

A reverse mortgage provider has an open position for a Remote Data Engineer Manager.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Providing technical and project leadership for the Data Engineering team
• Supporting Data Engineering team with daily maintenance/improvements of the existing Data Warehouse platform
• Creating the vision for Data and Data Warehousing team for product verticals and create a plan to achieve that vision

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Expertise with leading, managing and hiring a team of talented engineers
• AWS Certification in Data Analytics required
• 8 years of relevant engineering and people management
• 5 + years’ experience using analytic SQL, working with traditional relational databases and/or distributed systems such as Hadoop / Hive, Big Query, Redshift
• 2+ Years of experience programming languages (e.g. Python, R, bash)
• 3+ years' experience managing a distributed team, including mix of employees, contractors, or managed service partners
