Job Summary

A technology company has a current position open for a Remote Data Engineering Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Designing, implementing and supporting an analytical data infrastructure
  • Partnering with product owners/BSAs and developers to implement strategies to meet the objectives set by senior executives
  • Interfacing with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources

Required Skills:

  • Degree/Diploma in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline
  • 8+ years of industry experience in software development, data engineering, business intelligence, data science, or related field
  • Demonstrated strength in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing
  • Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases
  • Experience using big data processing technology using PySpark
