Job Summary

A travel technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Data Engineering Senior Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of our ETL service stack
  • Creating data engineering PaaS for internal use
  • Coordinating with the Analytics and Data Science teams to define and add new record types to the system

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 5+ years of experience as a software/data engineer
  • 2+ years of experience with data warehousing applications
  • 2+ years developing cloud-based applications and infrastructures
  • Experience with real-time streaming applications
  • Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
  • Comfortable building container-based solutions
