Job Summary

A unviersity needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Data Science Professor.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Promoting a graduate culture of scholarship, teaching, service, and practice
  • Teaching courses within a programmatic core discipline
  • Acting as a Dissertation Chair and/or acting as a Dissertation Committee Member

Qualifications Include:

  • Doctorate in Data Science, Statistics/Quantitative Methods, Computer Science, or related
  • Experience with the online delivery of education and the systems that support it
  • Proficiency in the use of technology in the delivery of education
  • Familiarity with key concepts of Data Science
  • Familiarity with tools used to prepare and analyze data
  • Skill in verbal and written communication
