Job Summary

A software company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Data Scientist in New York City.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Working with large and complex data sets, applying advanced analytical methods to solve difficult, routine and non-routine analysis problems
• Interacting cross-functionally, making business recommendations (i.e. cost-benefit analyses, forecasting, a/b tests) with effective visualizations of findings
• Building and prototyping analysis pipelines to provide insights at scale

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB) and database languages (e.g., SQL, Cypher)
• Analytical and focused on data-driven decision-making
• Extensive experience working with an organization through rapid growth, including several rounds of fundraising
