Job Summary

A professional services company has a current position open for a Remote Data Stream Kafka Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in the migration and modernization of legacy mainframe systems to an API cloud-based system
  • Perform testing, maintenance, construction and development of large-scale data streaming solutions
  • Work with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives

Position Requirements Include:

  • 5 to 8 years’ experience in building data/software solutions
  • 5 years of data streaming/Kafka experience
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and building AWS based data streaming solutions
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins and Docker
  • Proficient in building and maintaining Java microservices
  • Knowledge of AWS Relational Database Services
