Job Summary

A business process solutions is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Database Administrator.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Troubleshooting and handling all database related issues and tracking them through to resolution
  • Administering Microsoft SQL server database environments in the organization
  • Performing database maintenance activities such as backup/recovery, rebuilding/reorganizing indexes

Qualifications Include:

  • Experience with database technologies such as MS SQL Server & MySQL
  • Experience in handling and managing databases in a real time production environment
  • Bachelor's degree in computer or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL database administration and support of enterprise level environments
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues
  • Ability to detect and troubleshoot database related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention issues
