Job Summary

A mutual insurance company is in need of a Remote Database Administrator.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Defining database requirements
• Providing implementation, administration, monitoring, turning, and back-up
• Translating technical information into understandable terms

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's in a related field and 5 years experience or equivalent education, training and experience
• 5+ years' experience in all aspects of database administration
• Experience creating and modifying stored procedures
• Working knowledge of big data concepts and architecture: Hadoop, RDS, data lakes, etc
• Experience creating and modifying tables, views, and functions
• Understanding of T-SQL queries
