Job Summary

A recruitment and consulting firm is filling a position for a Remote Database Administrator in Phoenix.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Identifying database requirements by interviewing customers; analyzing department applications, programming, and operations; evaluating existing systems and designing proposed systems
  • Participating in a 24X7 on-call rotation
  • Implementing changes to database environment following pre-defined change management policies and procedures using ITIL and DevOps practices

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 5 years DBA experience
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Linux and Windows
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate well
  • Ability to create and maintain databases required for Dev, QA, and Production usage
  • Ability to perform capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases
  • Ability to act as the database SME on assigned internal projects
