A research and development company has a current position open for a Remote Database Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Organizing and improving a growing data warehouse for a fast-paced organization
  • Supporting various teams to create scalable solutions to answer pressing questions
  • Analyzing issues holistically

Qualifications for this position include:

  • A bachelor’s degree and previous database engineering experience
  • 1 year of experience developing PostgreSQL solutions in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with Linux-based cloud computing systems
  • Ability to design and organize a data warehouse for efficiency and scalability
  • Know how to create Airflow DAGs to create ELT and ETL processes
  • Expert level scripting of regular processes using Python and SQL
