Job Summary
A cyber security solutions has an open position for a Remote Database Reliability Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Embracing and championing best practices for database safety and performance
- Automating every aspect of datastore management that can be automated
- Defining and meeting service level objectives for services in your care
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 5+ years experience managing production databases
- The ability to orchestrate and automate complex administrative tasks
- Deep expertise in one or more of ElasticSearch, Cassandra, Kafka, or PostgreSQL
- Strong data modeling and data structure design skills
- Familiarity and comfort with distributed systems
- Experience administering databases running in the cloud
