Job Summary
A healthcare revenue cycle management company has an open position for a Remote Denials Focus Certified Professional Coder in Anaheim.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Review and analyze patient records
- Assign accurately and sequence appropriately ICD-10 and CPT codes
- Contact clients as appropriate when documentation in the medical record is inadequate
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must have dependable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Must have Pro Fee coding experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of all or a combination of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, and medical terminology
- Nationally recognized coding credential (CPC, COC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA or RHIT through AHIMA/AAPC)
