Remote Denials Management Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Denials Management Specialist in Spartanburg, SC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and resolve outstanding denials and manage insurance appeals
• Identify denial trends, provide education, and manage outstanding AR related to denials
• Organize workflow, manage correspondences, and complete special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 4 years' experience in medical billing with exposure to denials, appeals, and insurance collections
• Good knowledge of ICD9 and CPT-4 coding, insurance explanation of benefits, and remittance codes
• Familiarity with multiple payer requirements for claims processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
