Job Summary
A non-profit digital services group is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Design Manager.
Must be able to:
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of new members of the design team
- Manage 3-5 individuals in service design, UX/product design, or content design roles
- Foster a dynamic and equity-centered design culture, and develop our design practice and capabilities
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- A portfolio of relevant design work with strong examples of your work, design process, and role
- 1+ years of experience managing, coaching, or mentoring other designers
- 6+ years of experience in product, interaction, or user experience
- Familiarity with common industry design and collaboration tools
- Familiarity with agile, iterative software development practices
