Job Summary
A non-profit organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Development Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing, submitting, and managing grant proposals to foundation, government, and corporate sources
- Conducting aggressive prospect research to generate a long and short list of potential funders
- Maintaining accurate grant calendars, database records and groups, and organizational files
Qualifications for this position include:
- Must have reasonable mobility for all necessary travel
- Outstanding writing and communication skills
- An ability to balance deadlines and near-term projects while advancing long-lead efforts
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and teams across different areas of subject matter expertise
- Ability and enthusiasm for working in a fully remote and independent environment
