Job Summary

A computer hardware company has an open position for a Remote DevOps Site Reliability Engineer.

Must be able to:

  • Design services and libraries to manage resource assignment to customer environments
  • Create abstractions and automation on top of VMware virtualization products
  • Develop integrations with partner-selected ticketing systems for Incident, Problem, and Change management

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of DevOps, Operations Engineering or as a SRE with development for large online services
  • Experience in large scale operations environments
  • Experience of at least 5-7 years with Linux/Unix development or systems administration
  • Experience using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef and/or Saltstack
  • Experience in VMware products, specifically cloud related solutions
  • Experience with Docker and additional containerization and orchestration tools
