Job Summary

An information technology company has an open position for a Remote DevOps Software Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Work with engineers to unblock them with any infrastructure or platform considerations
  • Improve logging, monitoring and alerting instrumentation
  • Follow a best practice approach to running securely in the cloud

Required Skills:

  • Ability to attend an annual whole company offsite
  • Deep knowledge and experience in Linux flavoured OSs, Kubernetes, and AWS
  • Deep knowledge and experience in Postgres, Kafka, and JVM based services
  • Hands on experience in networking security, databases and cloud systems
  • Experience with incidence management and root cause analysis
