Job Summary
A radio station has a current position open for a Remote Digital News Editor in Concord.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Overseeing news site in collaboration with the audience team
- Helping plan and oversee digital feature reporting
- Developing new opportunities for data visualizations, interactives and other graphics
Position Requirements Include:
- Expect that the Digital News Editor will eventually work out of our offices
- A minimum of two years of experience working in media
- Excellent writing, copy editing and organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in a leadership role on a team or project
- Demonstrated news judgment in recognizing the relative importance of a news story
- Experience with digital storytelling and presentation, including visualizations and graphics
