Job Summary
A non-profit cancer center is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote E and M Coder in New York City.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Analyzing medical records
- Extracting clinical, pathological, therapeutic and epidemiologic data
- Communicating directly with physicians
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 2 years of Evaluation and Management coding experience is required
- A medical coder with 2-4 years of coding experience, and knowledge of CPT-4
- Experienced in ICD-10 CM coding, anatomy, physiology and medical terminology
- Familiar with an automated health care environment
- Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work well under pressure
